What is MPAC?

MPAC is an American institution which informs and shapes public opinion and policy by serving as a trusted resource to decision makers in government, media and policy institutions. MPAC is also committed to developing leaders.

What makes this so special?

The Young Leaders Summits are one of kind programs that provide a platform for Muslim American college students and post graduates to explore the fields of interest. They will meet with experts in the field and have hands on training and workshops. Young Leaders will also have the chance to engage leading experts in media, government and Hollywood.

Who will I meet?

At the Young Leaders Summits, you will be meeting with experts in the field of your interest.

What will I do?

You will be meeting with experts in the field, obtaining cutting edge training, attending leadership workshops/activities, sightseeing, exclusive meetings and tours.

How much is this & what does it include?

The summit is $500 and it covers your flight to the summit, hotel, transportation during the summit and all materials.

Is Financial Aid offered?

 Unfortunately at this time there is no financial aid available. Please check back as this may change.

Is there an age requirement to take part in the summits?

Yes, attendees must be between the ages of 18 and 25

Can I attend more than one Summit?

Yes, you can attend more than one summit but will have to apply separately. You will also have to pay the $500 for each summit you are accepted to.

If I am in high school can I attend?

Unfortunately no, the program is only for undergrads, graduate students and recent graduates.

Do I have to be a US citizen in order to attend?

No, as long as you can enter the US and are issued a visa you may attend.

    What if you are not a recent graduate but interested in getting back into journalism. Can people who have some experience in writing for the media in their country but are now here apply to be part of the summit in order to get to know how to be part of the media here. Thanks. Amina
